Agency for Transnational Development and Training – TRANSCOOP, is a non-profit organization established in 1994 by Greek and German partners as a result of their successful previous cooperation in the field of local development – enhancing areas’ competitiveness and the human resources development sector.
The scope of TRANSOOP is to help strengthening the transnational cooperation among European partners, in terms of fostering partnerships, facilitating transfer of know – how and exchange of experience, supporting common undertakings at transnational and national level.
TRANSCOOP is specialized in project design, management and implementation of projects, with particular focus on territorial, entrepreneurship and human resources development. More specifically the subject of the Agency for Transnational Development and Training concerns program and project planning, managing and monitoring in the context of EU and national policies, as the elaborating of projects to enhancing areas’ competitiveness, the promotion of tools encouraging and supporting local entrepreneurship and business networking, planning and carrying out training measures, the development of ICT tools. As a result of its long presence in the European practice, TRANSCOOP has accumulated a sound experience in the implementation of transnational projects, especially in the human resources sector, while having cooperated with a significant number of the major players of the particular sector across the EU.
