KAELE was established in 1995 as an affiliate organization of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship (E.S.E.E.), a social partner in Greece representing SMEs.
KAELE is a non-profit organization certified by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) as a Level 2 Lifelong Learning Center and operates as the development and training organ of E.S.E.E, aiming to meeting needs related to the modernization and development of the Greek entrepreneurship. It is an institution of country wide scale set up of the headquarters in Athens, the branches in Thessaloniki, Alexandria of Imathia, Trikala, Patras and the offices in Livadia and Rhodes.
The main objective of KAELE is to implement vocational training programs and HR development actions, in order to provide businesses with qualified personnel adapted to the needs and requirements of the modern market, to support businesses’ competitiveness and to offer vocational training services to employees, self-employed and the unemployed.
Moreover, KAELE participates on the part of the E.S.E.E. in the social dialogue on Education and Training, as well as on related issues such as establishing a quality framework for training, certifying its inputs and outputs and diagnosing labor market needs.
