The Federation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship of Thrace is a non-profit Secondary Professional Institution (Federation), one of the 14 federations operating in Greece. The institution’s headquarters are in the city of Komotini and the branch in the city of Alexandroupolis. The Federation participates with a representative in the board of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship (E.S.E.E.)

Μembers of the Federation are associations, primary organizations and associations of businesses from the region of East Macedonia and Thrace, comprising professionals related to commerce, enterprises, individuals or other legal entities.

The aim of the Federation is the development and the dissemination of the trade union spirit in the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Thrace, the systematic and scientific study, the research, the monitoring and the resolving of any subject concerning the local commerce and the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Thrace.

The Federation takes the necessary actions to spread new business and trading ideas and works with national, European and worldwide institutions to implement new projects. The Federation takes also important action in the field of enhancing the competitiveness of Thrace such as the institutionalization of the Economic Forum of Thrace, the organization of the event “Select Thrace” for the attraction and the support of investments in Thrace.

The Federation collaborates with the pubic, administrative and judicial authorities, intending at the same time to the development and the progress of the commerce and the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship.
